A fall visit to Madame Sherri's Castle ruins in Chesterfield, NH.
I met the mother of these two handsome little guys in college at Carnegie Mellon University. We were both majoring in Fine Arts and playing on the Women's Varsity Soccer Team. A few years later, we were captains of our team, and then after graduation, housemates in a Brookline apartment. Needless to say, I was sitting right next to her at a pub in Cambridge, the night she met her husband. All these years later, I am the godmother of their oldest boy, and we live in Salem, MA, a few miles from each other.
